A passing car

"Starry nights, city of lights, coming down over me... Skyscrapers, fairy tales in my head." -- Green Day.

A car passes by, you might notice it if you're particularly observing vehicles on the road, but normally, it goes by in a flash of yellowandred, not giving you even time to think who's inside, to even wonder what the person might be thinking at that moment. There's too much going on for anyone to bother to stop, and consider. But for all you know, that person sitting in the car might be someone you'll know one day... maybe someone you'll end up marrying... someone you'll be working with...or even someone who shares your name... it could be anyone, it could be no-one.

But all the corollas, mercedes, toyotas, cultus, go by in a swirl of the car's backlights, so that even if you try and register the picture in your head, you can't. They run away, almost as if wanting to get away from you, leaving behind only colours and vague images.

Even through a camera, you can try and encage them in memory, but you can't. The picture brings out only remanents of blurry colours and laser-like lines representing that empty place where you once saw a car passing by.

For Aeisha M

A Nobel Prize winner's (flawless) book strewn carelessly atop ordinary printed pages from a random person's blog.... Who'd have thought? If you look at it, can you tell that one is a masterpiece, or the other in comparison is -nothing?

Both are masterpieces in their own. The blog pages, someone's hard work, thoughts, ideas, stories. Maybe more valuable than fiction. But they're lying together, as if that was their destined position. Carelessly.

Put anything with anything, doesn't matter how rich, how much better: it will still go unnoticed if no one knows whats so special about it. A Nobel Prize book next to printed pages. Magazine next to history book. 50 year old book. Latest book. Life. Death. Put them together, see how they entwine, how they mingle. You can almost hear them whispering to one another..

It all goes along, along, with the circle of life. And in the end, everything will work out... :)

And you've changed your colours so many times,
Still you're the same person.

First Picture: Dark Silhouette

First post ever. So I decided to start with this picture..

My dearest three-year old sister, posing so obediently for me. The result: what you see on your right.

I always liked the black-silhouette things, they look surreal.

Mine, not so much. But.
